 Some suspect he fled in shame, his corruption about to be discovered as the Royal Family searches for a place to lay a favorite son to rest. Others say he has been "disappeared" by his rivals.

Officer Kim Yeong-sik of the Saheonbu has tasked you to look into things in Paju. So, you are on a boat down-river from Hanseong to this rural district to seek out the truth.

Hello and welcome to this little project. What started as a Story Arc for my game, Sageuk! Roleplay in Joseon has turned into a stand-alone solo TTRPG thanks to Pandion Games's new Hints and Hijinx system. While I intend on releasing a version of this compatible with Sageuk! in the future, for now please enjoy this mystery! 

What is Hints and Hijinx?

Thanks to the Hints and Hijinx system, you can decide what the final outcome for this missing person case will be. This is determined by your interpretations of the Clue cards, the dice rolls, and how you answer questions as you visit each of the Locations where evidence might be found.

Will Hyeon Yong-ho turn out to be the scoundrel embezzler like some say he is? Will he be a victim of political games, personal rivalries, or a love affair gone wrong? Will he just want to escape it all and become a hermit in the mountains?

What is "Jwi-dal of Musin"?

This is a reference to when the game is set according to the traditional Korean lunisolar calendar, which is mid-to-late December of 1728.
