160 years ago, a man completed a life-long project and published his first great map of his country. Today it is celebrated as a great achievement, but we don't know much about him as a person outside of legends. What was his journey like?

In this GM-less game based on the Carta SRD game engine, you take the role of a cartographer and their team exploring a fictional country. It has been your lifelong dream to make a detailed and accurate map for the people.  In the process, you will find out about your country, the people who live there, and more about yourself then you ever thought possible.

You will need:

  • a standard deck of cards
  • Writing materials or a word processor to record your progress
  • Some paper to draw your map (optional)
  • one or two six-sided dice

It you would like to see how the game plays, I have a replay posted on my blog here!
