Mechanics change for v1.1
Hi all! Sorry to have to do this, but I have released a pretty big change to Project Hypaethrus, which has warrented the release of a 1.1 version of the game
As I was doing further play-testing and writing the quick-start, I came to realize that having 5 aspects, their bonds, & skills for the Present Persona and the additional 5 aspects + extra skills for the past persona was way too much. Not only making some things too easy for the Travelers, but also too much to create & keep track of for the Player. As a result, I decided it would be best to roll the Aspect and skill count to 3 for both the Present and Past Persona.
This is the only major change to the text of the manual. Every location referencing 5 Aspects, Skills, or Bonds has been changed to 3 or at least they should have been. The graphics and character sheets have also been changed to use a new Blossom that you can see at the bottom of this post. I know it is greyscale instead of colorful like the previous version. I might consider making a more fancy version if we it the itchfunding goal to allow a layout redesign. If you find anything else I missed, please feel free to let me know in the comments here, on Twitter, or on the Hessan's County Discord Server.
Yes, this means that your Traveler might be a bit under-powered when acting in the Present. In that case, the Timekeeper might want to not utilize the Temporal Dissonance mechanic when the players are in the Present or instead allow the Travelers to pull on their most recent Past Persona in a sort of reverse of what happens when the players travel into the Past.
